My Crafting Story

Hi! I'm Sharron Martin, also known as Shazza, and I'm an Independent Demonstrator in Nelson, New Zealand.
 A self-confessed stationery addict, I've had a passion for paper, pens and crafting from an early age. I remember collecting postcards when I was little and making scrapbooks of the family travel. I love stickers to and still proudly have my childhood collection!
 Despite being a stationery and paper crafting fanatic, I never thought I had the artistic ability to create my own handcrafted cards until I discovered the ease and joy of Stampin' Up! in 2017. It ticked ALL the crafting boxes for me. Paper, stamps, cards, embellishments and storage options! AND they are ALWAYS coming out with new and wonderful products to play with!
 I found that being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator was something I could do for myself that was not only fun,  sociable and creative, but could also earn me a little bit of money too. As I started to get immersed in it I met like-minded people and made new friends. Which gave me the confidence to share with others just how much fun it is to spend a little time for yourself crafting and making 'smile mail'. It is fun to do by yourself or with others, and perfect for all ages too!
 As a beginner myself and constantly learning, I enjoy CaS'ing (Copy & Sharing) other peoples designs and tweaking them. I am passionate about encouraging other's and focusing on sharing the simple joy of crafting with Stampin' Up!, by adding ink to paper and creating memories.

Diamond Flip Fold Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I found this fun fold card while searching Pinterest the other day, it is called a Diamond Flip Card. It took me a bit to work out the measurements in cms but once I did I was able to make a few of them in a row. For these cards I used the Art Floral Designer Series Paper as the paper is so beautiful and makes me feel like an artist when I use it. I also used the technique of using Stampin Write Markers to colour in the stamp and get a water colour effect.
