Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I found this fun fold card while searching Pinterest the other day, it is called a Diamond Flip Card. It took me a bit to work out the measurements in cms but once I did I was able to make a few of them in a row. For these cards I used the Art Floral Designer Series Paper as the paper is so beautiful and makes me feel like an artist when I use it. I also used the technique of using Stampin Write Markers to colour in the stamp and get a water colour effect. Check out the details below and I look forward to seeing your version of this card.
**The card base: cut a piece of cardstock (I used So Saffron) at 10.5 on the short side. Fold piece in half and burnish with bone folder.
**Score one end at 5.3cm. Now place the open ends on the trimmer and find the middle, make a pencil. With pencil and ruler measure from the middle to the score line on each side. Using trimmer or scissors cut along the pencil line on each side to form a triangle shape.
**With piece that has the score line, fold it back to the card base, burnish.
**On the card base, adhere with Tom bow glue the Night of Navy, 9 x 10cm with a Designer Series Paper 8.6 x 9.6cm. Adhere together and place on card base.
**Take two pieces of Night of Navy 7.7 x 7.7cm and put through the Stampin Cut & Emboss machine with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
**Take a piece of Basic White, 9 x 10cm and adhere with Tom bow glue inside card leaving the triangle clear. Place one of the Night Of Navy squares onto this leaving an edge around it.
**Put glue onto the So Saffron cardstock triangle at front of card and place the Night of Navy square on an angle to create a diamond shape. Burnish the fold.
**For the flowers follow the images below.
**Once your two flowers have been place inside and on front of card take a piece of Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim, tie a bow then gently spread the top of the loops with your finger to create a wider loops. Place a Ladybug trinket onto flower.
**This card fits into a standard envelope. Don't forget to decorate the envelope for that added special touch.
