A Cup of Thanks

Today I am sharing this card created with the Press On stamp set and Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. I love coffee and saying thank you to someone to show appreciation for something they did. So combining these two is awesome. I used Early Espresso Cardstock for the card base and adhered a piece of  Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper as first layer. I then stamped the row of coffee cups on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and coloured in using Stampin Write Markers. The sentiment is in Memento black, I love the script of this sentiment. Adhere this piece to a panel of Early Espresso and then dimensional it to the card base. Place three Gilded Gems onto card and you then have a lovely handmade card to send to someone to say thank you. Don't forget to decorate the envelope. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you enjoyed my card design and that it inspires you to try something new with your creative projects.  Product List Gilded ...

Coming Home Slimline Card

Thank you for stopping by today. I have a awesome project to share with you. Hopefully it will give you inspiration to create your own smile mail. I created this card using the new trend that is going around called Slimline Cards. I quite like these larger cards as they give you more area to decorate and have a play. Why don't you give them a try and see what you think. There are plenty of different measurements online for these cards but I found 8 1/2" x 7" is a great one for our A4 sized cardstock. The piece left over is perfect for the first layer, so no wastage. They fit an DLE envelope, 114 x 225mm.  I used the Coming Home stamp set, and the masking technique to get a look of many houses and trees. This is a cool technique and can be used for lots of scenery images, flowers or crowds of people. I used sticky notes for the mask, stamped the image and then fussy cut it out. Keep with your stamp set to re use next time. Live in New Zealand. Click on the products below t...
