Welcome to my weekly blog, where I hopefully give you inspiration to create your own beautiful handmade cards.
This weeks card is created with the awesome Nothing Better Than Bundle. Any thing that has Coffee in it is a win for me!! The stamp set and co-ordinating dies are awesome to create quick cards for friends or family. This stamp set was designed by Connie Stewart a Independent Demonstrator. Stampin' Up! love to reward their Demonstrators and Connie reached Million Dollar sales and was rewarded with being able to design her own stamp set. How awesome is that.
CARD RECIPE
1. Card base is Whisper White 14.9 x 21cm scored at 10.5
2. So Saffron Cardstock for first layer,14.4 x 10cm
3. Second layer of Whisper White Cardstock 14.2 x 9.8cm. Stamp coffee cup image over the panel rotating it so you have some upside down. Then using the infill stamp with Terracotta Tile, So Saffron & Garden Green ink, place colour inside the coffee cups. Adhere to So Saffron layer using Stampin' Seal.
4. Using same colours and the star image, stamp around the page.
5. Terracotta Tile cardstock strip 2 x 10cm. Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
6. Take a piece of Garden Green Cardstock and using a Stitched Circle Die put through Cut & Emboss machine. Emboss the sentiment on the circle by stamping with Versamark ink and White Embossing Powder. Place at the top of circle.
7. Die cut out the word Coffee twice in So Saffron Cardstock and adhere both together. Doubling the words makes it pop off the page. I suggest using adhesive sheets for ease of glueing together otherwise use fine tip glue.
8. Take a piece of Whisper White 7.3 x 3.2cm and flag one end. Place the words onto this and stamp a couple of the star images as well.
9. Place Garden Green circle over top of Terracotta Tile and to the right of card. Make sure the words are above the Terracotta Tile. Now place the flag shape with dimensionals so the flat edge is flush to the right and placed over both the strip and circle.
10. Decorate the inside of the card and don't forget to decorate the envelope.
