Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit).
Today' card is using the Heart to Heart stamp set and Heart Punch pack. This beautiful stamp and punch set is great for upcoming Valentines Day or for any reason you want to send someone you love a handmade card. Two of the sheets from the From My Heart Specialty DSP co-ordinates with the two punches to create some lovely detail for your cards. Check out the inside of the card for an added 3D effect with the Heart Doilies.
CARD DETAILS:
* Card base is Real Red.
* Cut a piece of From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) measuring 14.4 x 10cm and adhere with Tombow glue to card base.
* With the scalloped edge heart punch, punch out two hearts from Petal Pink Cardstock. Then find the DSP that has the hearts like the ones in the card above and using the smaller punch line up and punch out.
* Glue the DSP's hearts to the Petal Pink hearts.
* Then using the scalloped punch, punch out a heart with Real Red Cardstock.
* Take a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamp sentiment in Real Red ink. Stamp the small border image in Petal Pink ink below the sentiment. Glue this one to the Real Red heart.
* Glue the Petal Pink hearts to the left of card, one at top and one on bottom of card.
* Adhere the Real Red heart with dimensionals to the right of card and in the middle.
* The embellishments are From My Heart Faceted Gems, arrange three on your card where you want.
* Adhere a piece of Whisper White Cardstock 14.4 x 10cm to inside of card & decorate with a strip of DSP and Heart Doiles. Take four of the doilies and glue top of side edges together to create a fan. Adhere first and fourth one to card by glueing one down first and then glueing the top one and closing the card, press down and hold for a few seconds. Then gently open the card.
* Don't forget to decorate the envelope to complete your handmade creation.
