Beautiful Colours

Colours

Colours are what makes our world beautiful from greens, blues to pinks and reds and all the rainbow in between. But there are also black, grey & white which on their own are just as beautiful but then combine them with colour and they pop.
With spring just around the corner we are getting some beautiful colours popping up all round us with blossoms and flowers. I love this time of the year. With the weather warming up and the days getting longer, whats not to love.

In Stampin' Up! we have beautiful assortment of colours that come in co-ordinating inks, cardstock, designer series paper, ribbon and embellishments. This colour co-ordination is one of the wonderful things about Stampin' Up! products because it makes the creative experience easier and more fun.
How many times have you gone to stamp a image in a particular colour and then tried to find a ribbon or embellishment that co-ordinates? I have myself many times but since I have been using Stampin' Up! products I haven't had to worry. I can stamp in Rococo Rose Ink with Rococo Rose Cardstock to make a beautiful card.

A colour coach is always good to have handy, it helps with ideas on what colours match and sometimes these do surprise you.
If you are interested in having a copy of Stampin' Up!s Colour Coach email me and I will send you one. See below for a page sample of our colour coach.

Check out my online store for more of our colours
One of the best colour co-ordinations we have is our Designer Series Paper. All colours used in our paper are from our colour families so you can be guaranteed to have your card or scrapbook page colour matched with ease. Without the hassle of trying to find the right co ordinating colours you will have more time to create those beautiful paper creations.
The colours used in the Designer Series Paper are listed with your Designer Series Paper packs.

Diamond Flip Fold Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I found this fun fold card while searching Pinterest the other day, it is called a Diamond Flip Card. It took me a bit to work out the measurements in cms but once I did I was able to make a few of them in a row. For these cards I used the Art Floral Designer Series Paper as the paper is so beautiful and makes me feel like an artist when I use it. I also used the technique of using Stampin Write Markers to colour in the stamp and get a water colour effect. Check out the details below and I look forward to seeing your version of this card. **The card base: cut a piece of cardstock (I used So Saffron) at 10.5 on the short side. Fold piece in half and burnish with bone folder. **Score one end at 5.3cm. Now place the open ends on the trimmer and find the middle, make a pencil. With pencil and ruler measure from the middle to the score line on each side. Using trimmer or scissors cut along the pencil line on each side to form a triangle shape. **With...

Autumn Leaves

Thank you for stopping by today. I have this wonderful handmade card to share with you today using the Love of Leaves Bundle. The stamp set has some wonderful leaf images and some small sentiments that are great for front of a card or inside. I was very happy to be involved with the Autumn Mega Tutorial Bundle that includes this stamp set along with the other Autumn themed stamp sets from the Mini Catalogue. To find out how you can get your hands on 82 tutorials click here. NOTE: This card is not one of the tutorials as those cards are exclusive to the bundle and you will not see them online from demonstrators, you can of course show off your creations that you make from it. The card base is a portrait fold, Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 10.5cm x 29.6cm. Score and burnish at 14.9cm For the first layer, I combined Early Espresso 9.4 x 13.8cm and Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP 9 x 12.4cm. Adhere together with Stampin Seal and then adhere to card base. The second layer is Early Espresso 12.4...
