Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you have been getting some creative time into your week. The Sand & Sea Suite comes with white Pearlescent Speciality Paper which is gorgeous but I wanted a colour one, so I got my Shimmer Paint Frost White out and a piece of Misty Moonlight. Using a dauber rub the shimmer paint all over the cardstock, leave it for a couple of minutes to dry. Then put it through the Seashells Embossing Folder. Woila you have coloured Pearlescent Paper. All items can be viewed and purchased from my  online store . I hope I have inspired you to get your craft supplies out and start creating your own handmade projects. Friends are like Seashells

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my blog. I finally got around to playing with the Seashell 3D Embossing folder and Pearlescent Specialty Paper from the Sand & Sea Suite. The embossing folder gives an absolutely beautiful 3D embossed seashell finish to it. I created this card using the folder with the Pearlescent paper, it is hard to capture the shine in this paper but it is gorgeous.  RECIPE * I used Whisper White Thick Cardstock as the base. * Silver Foil sheet, 14.4 x 10cm as the first layer. Before adhering to card, punch out a 2 1/4" circle for the front of card. * Using the Seashell 3D Embossing folder, emboss a piece of Pearlescent paper 13.9 x 9cm. This paper has a beautiful shine to you. * Stamp sentiment in Memento ink onto a piece of Whisper White and punch out using 2" circle punch. Adhere to Silver Foil circle using Tom bow glue. Place both onto seashell layer at the top right corner using dimensionals. Now adhere to the Silver Foil layer. * D

Sweet Friend

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Do you love Stampin' Up!s range of punches? I do, I think they are a great tool to have, they don't take up too much room and can be used in lots of ways. The Double Oval Punch in the January/June Mini Catalogue is an ideal punch for labels or as a background as I have done with this card. The Oval Occasions stamp set has some awesome sentiments that co ordinate with this punch or plenty of other punches in the catalogues.  This card was inspired by the one on page 65, but I used Misty Moonlight Cardstock for the ovals. Card Recipe * Use Very Vanilla  cardstock for the card base, 14.9 x 2 using it landscape. * Cut a piece of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (FREE with Sale-a-bration at 14.4 x 10cm. * Put some Misty Moonlight cardstock & the Meadow Moments folder through Stampin Cut & Emboss machine. Then using the Double Oval Punch, and the smaller oval punch out 4 or 5. Put aside * Punch out large oval shapes with Misty

Hey there, Friend

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you get inspired to create your own handmade cards. I created this card to show my customers the cute Donkey from the Darling Donkeys which is FREE stamp set in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. This cute fella is just one of the donkeys in this stamp set and the sentiments like Hee Haw! and Hay there, Friend are awesome for any type of card. Inspiration for this card came from Lynn Dunn. I also used the technique of stamping the sentiment in two different colours then cutting out and placing them separately onto the card. Card Recipe: * Card base is Cherry Cobbler 14.9 x 21 cm scored at 10.5. * First layer is Whisper White 14.4 x 10cm. The strips of Designer Series Paper are from the Neutrals 6" x 6" papers, 5 x 10cm and 2 x 10cm. Adhere to card base using Tombow glue. * Stamp donkey in Memento Ink onto piece of Whisper White. Colour in using your favourite colouring tools. Then use a Stitched Rectangle die and the Stampin' Cut
