Sweet Friend

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Do you love Stampin' Up!s range of punches? I do, I think they are a great tool to have, they don't take up too much room and can be used in lots of ways. The Double Oval Punch in the January/June Mini Catalogue is an ideal punch for labels or as a background as I have done with this card. The Oval Occasions stamp set has some awesome sentiments that co ordinate with this punch or plenty of other punches in the catalogues. 

This card was inspired by the one on page 65, but I used Misty Moonlight Cardstock for the ovals.


Card Recipe

* Use Very Vanilla cardstock for the card base, 14.9 x 2 using it landscape.
* Cut a piece of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (FREE with Sale-a-bration at 14.4 x 10cm.
* Put some Misty Moonlight cardstock & the Meadow Moments folder through Stampin Cut & Emboss machine. Then using the Double Oval Punch, and the smaller oval punch out 4 or 5. Put aside
* Punch out large oval shapes with Misty Moonlight. Adhere onto the DSP piece, with some overhanging. Next adhere a couple of the embossed ovals. Trim around the edges and adhere to the card base.
* Next using Just Jade and Memento ink, stamp sentiment & flowers onto a piece of Whisper white cardstock, using Double Oval Punch and punch out small oval. Colour in flowers with your choice of colouring tool.
* Take a piece of Just Jade ribbon and adhere to one of the ovals in a swirl pattern using glue dots. Place the small oval with sentiment over top the ribbon using dimensionals.
* Place three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots around card.
* Decorate the inside of card & don't forget to decorate the envelope.

Diamond Flip Fold Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I found this fun fold card while searching Pinterest the other day, it is called a Diamond Flip Card. It took me a bit to work out the measurements in cms but once I did I was able to make a few of them in a row. For these cards I used the Art Floral Designer Series Paper as the paper is so beautiful and makes me feel like an artist when I use it. I also used the technique of using Stampin Write Markers to colour in the stamp and get a water colour effect. Autumn Leaves

Thank you for stopping by today. I have this wonderful handmade card to share with you today using the Love of Leaves Bundle. The stamp set has some wonderful leaf images and some small sentiments that are great for front of a card or inside.
