Timeless Tulips

Welcome to my new Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit).

 Today's card that I have to show you is from Timeless Tulips. This beautiful stamp set has some beautiful images and lovely sentiments for Mother's Day to Easter. Best of all it comes with a punch that you can purchase seperately or in a bundle with 10% discount.

Card Details:
  • Card Base: Flirty Flamingo 14.9cm x 21cm scored at 10.5
  • Card Front: Mossy Meadow 14.4cm x 10cm, Crumb Cake 13.9cm x 5cm, Mossy Meadow 6cm x 13.7cm, Whisper White 5.5cm x 13.3cm
  • Sentiment Label: Whisper White
  • To create card base, fold along score line as above and burnish with a bone folder.
  • Adhere largest piece of Mossy Meadow to front of card.
  • With Crumb Cake take the Basket Weave 3D embossing folder and put through your big shot.
  • Stamp the tulip in Flirty Flamingo and stems and leaves in Mossy Meadow onto the Whisper White layer. Adhere this to the Mossy Meadow piece.
  • Place the embossed Crumb Cake to right of card base. Then the Mossy Meadow and Whisper White panels to the left of card base.
  • Stamp sentiment with Mossy Meadow and cut out a rectangle shape.
  • Tie a bow in Braided Linen Thread and adhere with glue dot.
  • Complete the card by adding 3 Iridescent Sequins to the cards
  • Add a Whisper White panel 14.4cm x 10cm to the inside of card and decorate with sentiment and images.
  • Don't forget to decorate the envelope to finish off the whole ensemble.
You could also add another layer of tulips by stamping the same flowers onto a scrap of Whisper White and then punch out with the co-ordinating punch.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I found this fun fold card while searching Pinterest the other day, it is called a Diamond Flip Card. It took me a bit to work out the measurements in cms but once I did I was able to make a few of them in a row. For these cards I used the Art Floral Designer Series Paper as the paper is so beautiful and makes me feel like an artist when I use it. I also used the technique of using Stampin Write Markers to colour in the stamp and get a water colour effect. Autumn Leaves

Thank you for stopping by today. I have this wonderful handmade card to share with you today using the Love of Leaves Bundle. The stamp set has some wonderful leaf images and some small sentiments that are great for front of a card or inside.
