Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit).
Today's card is using the Honey Bee Stamp set. This small stamp set is a buzzzz with everyone that has it, check out Pinterest for lots of inspiration. Team the stamp set and dies with the Golden Honey Speciality DSP from Sale-a-bration (yours FREE) and you get more WOW.
CARD DETAILS:
* Card base is Basic Black cardstock at 14.9 x 21cm, scored at 10.5cm
* Cut a piece of the hexagon pattern Honey Bee Designer Series Paper at 14.9 x 10.5cm and adhere to card base.
* Using a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and Mint Macaroon ink pad. Wipe the ink pad over the cardstock in a smearing fashion. Then using the hexagon die cut out the shape. Keep a couple of the small hexagon shapes that pop out.
* Stamp two bee images with Memonto Ink onto a piece of Whisper White 7 x 11cm. One at the top and one at the bottom. Colour the body in using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Markers.
* Find the Designer Series piece that has the gold bee images and using the corresponding die and your Big Shot, cut it out.
* Place the hexagon die shape in between the two bees, don't glue it all down leave some floating off the base card. Using dimensionals place the bee on top. Stamp the Hello sentiment in Memento Ink and cut around it in a square shape. Place this onto of the bee with small dimensionals.
* Now find the 3 or 4 hexagon shapes left over from the die cut and glue onto the DSP as shown in picture.
* Take some Daffodil Delight ribbon and by using Snail glue place it in the middle of card in a S shape down the card. Place the Whisper White panel with the bees onto card with dimensionals.
*Place a piece of Whisper White 14.4 x 10cm inside card and decorate with image and sentiment.
* Don't forget to decorate the envelope too.
