Sparkle of the Season - Thank You Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you get some inspiration to create your own handmade card. Today I am showing you this lovely thank you card I created using the lovely Seasonal Swirls Dies. This reef swirl can be used for any season, this one is an autumn one but it could be a Christmas one.  Card base is Sahara Sand 14.9 x 21 cm along with the first layer of Evening Evergreen 14.4 x 10cm.  I used the Peaceful Prints DSP from Sale-a-bration for the second layer of 13.9 x 9.5cm. This one is perfect for a background. The colours for the swirl are Evening Evergreen, Bumblebee, Old Olive & Cajun Craze. The dies have extra leaves and pieces that can be used to adorn the three choices of swirls. The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags and the sentiment is from Ornate Thanks stamp set. Using the Linen Thread double loop and create a bow. Here is another couple of cards I made with the Seasonal Swirl Dies. Product List Seasonal Swirls Dies [ 156564 ] $71.00

Happy Day - Words of Cheer

Hello thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you get inspiration to create your own handmade cards. I have been playing with the Words of Cheer bundle this week and created this card for my friends birthday. Start with a card base of Just Jade Cardstock at 14.9 x 21 cm scored in half. Take a piece of Basic White Cardstock measuring 8 x 14.4 cm. Using a blend brush and mask from the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks along with So Saffron & Mint Macaron ink blend colour over it. Adhere to card base. Stamp two flower images, colour in with your favourite colours, then cut out using corresponding die. Adhere to card. Die cut "Happy" and some stars using dies from the Christmas Cheer Dies and Gold Foil. Place word onto a piece of Misty Moonlight, 3 x 10cm cutting a flag shape at one end. Place stars around the card. Stamp "Day" in Misty Moonlight onto scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and cut a small square then place under the word Happy. Place a piece o

Peek A Boo Christmas Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have you checked out this cute Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE with qualifying spend in Sale-a-bration. I recieved the 'Picture This' die the other day and my first thought was to use it with this cute Designer Series Paper. How cute are these images? The card was created using a few products from the Annual Catalogue and Mini Catalogue. The Picture This die creates some cute peek a boo cards and the images are great for fussy cutting and adding to a card. Images in the circles are from the other side of the DSP used on the card base. I die cut 3 stars using Silver Foil and the dies from Stitched Star Dies. The sentiment is from the Sweet Little Stockings Stamp Set. I also created this card with the circles that were left over. Earn your FREE Penquin Playmates DSP before the end of September. Sending Thoughts - Vintage Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope I inspire you to create your own handmade cards. Today my card was inspired by Robin P Broome. I love vintage style so I took her card and added my twist to it. Let me know what you think. Card Recipe: Start with a Crumb Cake Cardstock base of 14.9 x 21cm. Then use one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and Crumb Cake ink to cover the front of the card base. Second layer is Night of Navy Cardstock at 12.8 x 8.4cm. Distress the edges and rip it in a couple of places then use Early Espresso ink and a dauber to colour the edges. You can also curl some of the edges with your bone folder. Third layer is Crumb Cake Cardstock 12.1 x 7.7cm. Stamp the script image from the stamp set Very Versailles in Crumb Cake ink randomly all over. Then rip around the edges to give an old manuscript effect and blend Early Espresso ink around the edges. For the flowers, die cut from the Harvest Die with Basic White Cardstock. Use daubers to colour. To get the
