Christmas Gift Box

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I had to come up with a gift for a mid Christmas Party this week and thought about doing a couple of gift boxes using the Stampin' Up! Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. Stampin' Up! have a wide range of gift packaging from acetate boxes, ombre gift bags and treat boxes. They are all food safe as well. Check out the Packaging Basics on page 137 of Annual Catalogue.   I first used a blending brush and blended Cherry Cobbler all over. I cut two strips from the Peaceful Prints DSP (FREE with Sale-a-bration), this has some gorgeous Christmas Patterns. I flagged both pieces at one end and staggered the lengths on top of box. To tie the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon I cut a hole behind the lid and threaded it through, this way you can still open the box without untying it. Die cut the star swirl fr...

Happy Birthday said with flowers

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I would like to show you another lovely handmade card made with the beautiful In Symmetry Designer Series Paper. To check out my previous card  click here. I am so in love with the colours in this DSP.  I found this design on Pinterest and had to CASE it. Thank you to Love 2 Create, Jo Anne Lewis for inspiring me.  I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to create the frame, isn't it just gorgeous. Then with the flowers die cut with the Pierced Blooms die, I mimicked the colours on the DSP, Flirty Flamingo & Night of Navy with a pop of Bumblebee Cardstock. The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments stamp set. For written instructions for this card you can email me and I would be more than happy to send them to you. All items can be viewed and purchased from my  online store . I hope I have inspired you to get your craft supplies out and start creating your own handmade projects. The Designer Series Paper is Sweet Symmetry the stamp sets are Garden Wishes plus Celebrate with Flowers. I love the Happy Birthday stamp that goes downwards instead of across. This card fold was designed by my team member Lisa Jary, for Shazza's Crafts Card Club and I wanted to repeat it with different papers and stamp sets to share with you. Card base is Just Jade,14.7 x 21cm and scored at 7cm & 17.4cm. I used Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper, I am loving this beautiful colourful DSP paper, you can co-ordinate it with so many colours from the Stampin' Up! colour families. Before you attach the Happy Birthday panel, adhere the In Colour Shimmer Vellum piece first.Place the flower piece on top with it overlapping onto small strip. I used a Stitched So Sweetly die for the border around the flowers,...

Thanks - Watercolour Shapes

Hello thank you for stopping by my blog today. I purchased the awesome stamp sets Biggest Wish & Watercolour Shapes the other day. I searched through Pinterest and I found this card from Sara Levin which I CASED, changing the colours to suit my style. I am loving the Watercolour Shapes stamp set as a background stamp and can see a lot more cards being made with it. The colours I used for this card are Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride & Polished Pink. The Watercolour Shapes stamp set makes you out to be an artist but takes only ink and a stamp to create this awesome background. There are 9 shapes in this set from squares, rectangles to circles.  The Biggest Wish stamp set has bold and script writing which  is a lovely compliment to this card.
