Friends Are Like Seashells

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. This card is one of the cards I created for my Card Buffet event that a fellow demonstrator and I held here in Nelson last weekend. We had 16 ladies come along to a fun crafting event where they created a buffet of 10 handmade cards. This card was created using the Sand & Sea Suite and has a couple of steps to follow to create it. Check out instructions below and create your own version.

* Place Seaside Shell die in Stampartaus and place corresponding shell images in place then pick up with two plates. Take die away and place Crumb Cake into same area and ink up large seashells in Blushing Bride and stamp then the smaller images in Crumb Cake.

* Now line up image with the Seaside Shell die and put through Stampin Cut & Emboss machine. 

* Put die cut image through emboss folder to give the image a raised 3D impression

* Card base is Very Vanilla and first layer is Balmy Blue which is put through the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Adhere to card base with Tom bow glue.

* I went over the seashells with Wink of Stellar to give them a sparkle.

* Stamp sentiment in Memento ink and hand cut out. Wrap some linen thread and glue to back of sentiment.

* Decorate inside card and don't forget to decorate the envelope.
