Caseing the Catalogue

Hi lovely

Welcome to my weekly blog, where I hopefully give you inspiration to create your own beautiful handmade cards.

This weeks card is created using the Heartwarming Hugs Suite and the stamp set Wrapped In Christmas. This suite includes a awesome Mini Coffee Carrier, some Mini Coffee Cups and gorgeous Designer Series Paper. I CASEd this card from the catalogue, changing the Designer Series Paper to suit me.

 

The card base is Whisper White and the Designer Series Paper sizes are 13.4 x 9cm and 12.1 x 7.7cm. Put these at angles on the card base and adhere with Tom bow adhesive.

Using the shapes from Warm Wrap Dies #153521 and Cut & Emboss Machine cut out shapes from Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz. Stamp sentiment onto the Pear Pizzazz shape using Memento Ink. Adhere these together with Tom Bow glue.

For the decoration I used Real Red Cardstock, a piece of Mossy Meadow Diagonal Stripe Ribbon #153542 & Faux Suede Trim #152472. Cut these at different lengths and arrange in a pattern on the Designer Series Paper to the right of the card. I used glue dots to adhere.

Place the circles with dimensionals over top of arranged ribbon. Now colour four Gilded Gems with Real Red Blends and arrange over card. 

Decorate the inside of card and don't forget to decorate the envelope.
