Love you More Than

Welcome to my weekly blog, where I hopefully give you inspiration to create your own beautiful handmade cards.

I CASED this card from the Annual Catalogue using the Nothing's Better Than Stamp set and Love You More Than Dies. It was also one of the cards at my Card Buffet that was held last weekend. I love this stamp set as it has coffee, chocolate and cookies in it, all my food and beverage favourites. 

CARD RECIPE:

1. Card base, Real Red Cardstock, 14.9 x 21cm

2. First layer is Real Red, 14.4 x 10 cm. Place the circle mask from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, take a palette knife and spread Shimmery White Embossing Paste over it. Pop mask off, (I suggest you put it straight into a bowl of water so paste dosen't dry on it). Also place panel aside to air dry.

3. Whisper White Cardstock and using a Stitched Rectangle Die and run it through a Emboss & Cut machine.

4. On a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamp in Early Espresso four cookies. Using a Crumb Cake Stampin Blend colour in. Take corresponding cookie die and run through Emboss & Cut machine.

5. For the heart shape use the Heart punch and a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock.

6. For the words take a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock and place it onto a piece of Adhesive Sheet. Place the words on top and run through Emboss & Cut Cardstock. 

7. To build your card - adhere the Real Red panel onto base of card,leaving a small border. Then place heart shape onto the Whisper White panel, now take off bottom of adhesive sheet from the words and place them onto this panel covering the heart and below it. Place one cookie onto panel in opposite corners. Then place two under the panel, peeking out. Adhere to card base with Double Sided Tape.

8. Adhere Whisper White Cardstock 14.4 x 10cm panel inside card and decorate.

9. Don't forget to decorate the envelope.
