Mother's Day

Hi lovely Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit). Mother's Day is on Sunday 10th May. Its a day to celebrate the female figure in your life whether it be your Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, or best friend. The Best Dressed Suite from Mini Catalogue is ideal for Mother's Day cards, its floral Designer Series Paper and feminine images allow you to create handmade cards with ease. Male Birthday Card

Hi lovely I am sharing another male birthday card that I have created for a friends special day. I love the large Happy Birthday sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and I am sorry to see it go once the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue finishes on June 2nd.  For a PDF of the retired stamps and discounted ones email me today. Out of Comfort Zone

Hi lovely Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit). I have a couple of male friends birthdays coming up in May and making cards for them really takes me out of my comfort zone. For one I find they don't appreciate them, well some do and two I find it really hard to keep them plain, no bling or ribbon. I did a Pinterest search and found a couple that gave me some inspiration. My first one is below, I will share the other one on my next blog. To add a touch of difference to this card I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink then embossed it in Clear Embossing Powder mixed with Dazzling Diamond Glitter. This added some bling without being too girly. I was happy with the finished card and look forward to giving it to my friend to celebrate his birthday. CARD RECIPE 1.
