Breathtaking

Hi lovely Welcome to my Inspirational blog.  Today I want to share with you this gorgeous stamp called Breathtaking Bouquet and as you can see it is breathtaking. This stamp is great for colouring in with any medium you like, watercolouring, blends, markers, embossing powder and many more. You can use it as a background image or fussy cut out parts of it and use as embellishments. In this example I stamped in Memento Ink and coloured in with the lovely Stampin' Up! Blends . Then I adhered it to a card base of Balmy Blue. I added some bees from the Honey Bee stamps & dies. The sentiment is from the Beautiful You stamp set, I just love the font on these stamps.  TIP: If you have a Stamparatus , use it for this large stamp then you can get a precise image, if not the first time then the next . Also check out this gorgeous card made by Tina's Crafty Ink Spot .      Grab any of these products from my  Online Store! I hope you've enjoyed my project toda

Colour Coach

Hi lovely Do you want help in choosing colour combinations for your card projects?  To help Stampin' Up! have put their wide range of ink colours into ink families like Brights, Subtles etc. They have also included the colour combinations of each of the Designer Series Paper on the back of the packs, and also in the catalogue (check under the description). But the best thing is the Colour Coach where Stampin' Up! have given you a helping hand and taken the guess work out of what goes with what. Also it allows you to play around with colour combinations. See the examples below but if you would like a copy of all the ink colours coach  email me and I can send you a copy. I printed mine out onto thick cardstock, cut them out and then put into a small album. Some people put them onto a ring, its up to you and whatever works for you. Sometimes I find colour combinations that I would have never thought of, so this is a great resource to have in your craft room.  Pair

Today's card is one of the cards that we created at my card class on Saturday. I used the Scalloped Note Cards & Envelopes from Stampin' Up!s Annual Catalogue. I have been wanting to create with these note cards for a while, I love the colours of Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Light Pink and Terracotta Tile. I also used the flower image from 'Forever Blossoms' stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. CARD BASICS  * Take one of the Scalloped Note Cards * Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut out shape with a rectangle stitched die. Using the new Label Me Fancy Punch and the slit part, punch out a slit to put the ribbon through and tie a bow. * Stamp the blossom image onto a Whisper White Cardstock with Versamark Ink and sprinkle with Shimmer White Emboss Powder.
