Wishing You the Happiest of Birthdays

Thank you for stopping by today. I have a awesome project to share with you. Hopefully it will give you inspiration to create your own smile mail. Sharing another Slimline Card, these are so much fun to create. I decided to use Designer Series Paper this time as a back drop and the Artistry Blooms DSP is perfect for this.  To create this card design, I started with a 8 1/2" x 7" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock and scored at 3 1/2. The Artistry Bloom DSP panel is  3 1/8" x 8.5". I used the large sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays onto a panel of Whisper White and punched the corners using the Detailed Trio Punch. Using dimensionals to pop it up I placed it in the middle of card base. To finish off the card I added four In Colour Enamel Dots to the corners. I can see many more of these Slimline cards in my future crafting. Give them a try and explore your creativity. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you enjoyed my card desi...

Zany Zebra

Hi lovely Welcome to my weekly blog, where I hopefully give you inspiration to create your own beautiful handmade cards. This cute zebra is perfect for a toddlers birthday card. CARD RECIPE 1. Misty Moonlight is the card base. Stamp the party hat in same ink colour (tone on tone) 2. I used Whisper White and In Colour Designer Series Paper as front panel. 3. Cut a piece of Whisper White and flag one end. I stamped Happy Birthday and the party hat in Misty Moonlight and the 1st in Just Jade   4. Using Circle die cut out a piece of Basic Black. Then using stitched circle die cut out shape. On this circle I stamped the Zebra in Memento Ink and the dirt patch in Soft Suede. Adhere both circles with Tom bow and then place both onto card using dimensionals. 5. Stamp Grand Son in Just Jade on scraps of Whisper White and ...

So Grateful

Hi lovely Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit). I am sharing a card I made with the new Ornate Garden Suite which is a new suite in the Annual Catalogue that starts on June 3rd, but Stampin' Up! has bought this one out earlier for their customers. The suite is gorgeous with its choice of two stamp sets, two die sets and of course the beautiful Designer Series Paper. Also included in the suite is a 3D Embossing Folder, Ribbon combo pack and Gilded Gems. I cased this card from Teresa Brown, I love how it showcases the different sides of the Designer Series Paper.  CARD RECIPE Card base is Whisper White cardstock at 14.5 x 21cm and the first layer is Early Expresso cut at 14 x 10cm. Adhere the Early Expresso to card base. Take two co-ordinating pieces of Designer Series Paper, the bottom one is 9.5 x 6cm and top is 13.5 x 9.5cm. With the large piece, mark 2cm ac...
