Blackberry Beauty - Faux Pocket Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Todays card was CASED from Flowerbug's Inkspot and is a fun fold called Diagonal Faux Pocket card. I also used the beautiful new Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper, the fold shows off both sides of this gorgeous paper. Cut card base front at a diagonal by placing in your trimmer cutting channel the right bottom point and the opposite corner. Flip the cut off piece.  With the DSP 14.4 x 9.7 cm, is cut diagonally from left corner to right corner. The bottom piece will be the top panel and the top piece will be flipped and put on the bottom panel.  I used the Ornate Frame dies for the label. This fun fold can be used for any of the Designer Series Papers in the current catalogues. Soft Pastels - Sympathy Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. At the time of writing this New Zealand have gone into Level 4 lockdown because of COVID cases again in the community. In Nelson we are staying this way for 3 days for now but could be more, we will know on Friday. I have been playing around with the Soft Pastel chalks. These awesome chalks can be used to colour, in  a lot of different ways. For these two examples I used the Delicate Dahlias stamp set (FREE with Sale-a-bration). The darker one I used the chalk wet with watercolour brushes the second one I used a dauber and dry chalk. Both are beautiful and different from each other. Gorgeous colours available are Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy & Poppy Parade The colours I used for the cards were Blackberry Bliss and Crumb Cake. The Crumb Cake cardstock was put through a Bark 3D Embossing Folder and the label around the Dahlias was die cut using a die from the Hi

Harvest Meadow - Thank you 2

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I inspire you to create. Here is another card I have created using the Harvest Meadow Suite. I cant get enough of this suite with its pretty Designer Series Paper and the stamp set that has beautiful flower images to colour in.  This card showcases the Designer Series Paper. I used Crumb Cake as the base. Second layer is Bumblebee Cardstock 14.4 x 10cm. Cut a piece of Harvest Meadow DSP 13.6 x 9.3 cm for the third layer and adhere to card base. Tasteful Label Dies was used to cut out from Basic White Cardstock then stamped image in Memento Ink and coloured in using Stampin' Write Markers. Stamp sentiment "Thank You" in Memento Ink on scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and using the label die from the Harvest Dies. Place a length of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim across the card base using glue dots placed where the labels will go. Now place the flower and sentiment onto card using dimensionals. Place a piece of Basic White Cards
