Stay Safe

Hi beautiful Well we are into day one of New Zealand's lock down due to COVID-19 virus pandemic. I hope you are keeping safe and are ready to relish the opportunity of a slower pace of life for a little while. We are all going to need to focus our energy on small positive activities that give us a daily sense of accomplishment and purpose.  Make sure you keep in contact with your friends and wider family whether by phone or internet for moral support.  For me I will make sure I get up and get dressed as though I am going to work to give me a sense of purpose to my day.  As crafters we have been training for this situation. Stampin' Up! are still shipping at the moment so you don't have to run out of crafting supplies. The internet is full of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who are doing more Live FB posts and there are plenty of Youtube videos to check out if you want to learn a new technique or card fold. So take this time to learn something new, read that book, spend

So Very Vellum

Hi lovely I hope you are taking care through out this virus pandemic. Keep smiling and carry on I say. If you have time on your hands how about Sending Love, create a card and send to someone - just because or deliver a few to the elderly.  Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. Every week I will post a card with basic instructions that you are welcome to CASE (copy and selectively edit). I actually CASEd this one from Patty Bennett who always does some beautiful handmade cards. This Vellum is sooo pretty and its FREE with the 2nd release of Sale-a-bration.  The embossed dots add some fun detail to the colours which are Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and Purple Posy. CARD DETAILS *The card base is 14.9 x 21cm with the Vellum panel of 14.9 x 10cm. *The label image is stamped on  Whisper White cardstock and using blends of your choice colour in the flowers.  This is then put through the big shot with one of the 'Stitched So Sweetly Dies' . *On a scrap piece

Rest & Relax

Hi beautiful Welcome to my Weekly Inspirational Wednesday blog. This week I am posting the card I taught at our quarterly event "Extravaganza" in Nelson. I CASEd this fun fold from Sharon Armstrong (TX Sharon) then added my own touch to it. The ladies at the event had fun creating their own take on it as well. The products used in this card are below and if you would like to make your own I have the instructions that I can send you for FREE. Email me or text 0276934618  today for your copy and have fun with creating your version of this beautiful handmade card. FREE Tutorial  Products used are the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, along with the Tropical stamps and dies. I also used the Saddle Brown Stazon Ink when stamping the flowers and pineapple. The Soft Suede was put through the embossing Coastal Weave folder and the vellum adds a wonderful effect. This card was designed by my wonderful customer Eleanor. As the saying goes - Same but different!
